Big Burrito Taqueria, Canoga Park, CA

Usually the best place to start a story is in the beginning.  Melissa, Eleni and Yiayia went out with friends to see a movie.  They were doing some girls outing thing.  Melissa has been complaining for sometime now how the shower head was not fitting right and that she has lost the piece needed to fix it.  We went out today to get the piece needed so that Melissa can finally shower properly after all of these months and be clean.  Will she finally be clean?  I don't know, I really don't.  Only time will tell, but I feel with two shower heads, she has a heck of a shot and I'm really rooting for her to take a shower and be clean.  I'll try to remember to keep you posted.
After we left Larry and Joe's Plumbing, we decided to go Tacoteering.  Today's adventure took us to this little gem tucked away in a strip mall on Canoga pretty close to the mall.  Like I said the girls went out to the movies, dinner, I'll tell you, I don't know what they are doing.  My dad, my two sons and I decided that we would go have some fun of our own.  Jason is two, Alexander 10 and if you've been reading or following on Twitter or Instagram, you know them.
Inside of the restaurant is pretty cool.  Nothing too fancy, but it has what it needs.  You go order at the counter and they make the food as you are ordering it.  Not the most efficient, but these guys were working hard and were really nice. I seriously don't know if they charged us correctly.  We had a lot of tacos!  Alexander, my dad and I can put away some tacos, Jason got a burrito but then was eating tacos.  Yes, he ate lengua, yes he liked it and yes I'm proud of this young tacoteer.

Alexander and I got one of each of their taco meats except the cabeza, we shared that one.  Don't know why, but thought just one of those.  Good call, it rated the lowest.  They also have "Americano" tacos which come with lettuce, cheese, sour cream and tomatoes.  We got an extra pastor one that way to get some variety, Papou (my dad) got all of his that way.  Not too bad for a little change up.  It might make the place a little more colorful on the plate and approachable for when you take a lady friend out on a tacoteering date.  They might like all of that stuff.  Plus, it had lettuce and tomatoes so I can comfortably say that we ate vegetables aside jalapenos, onions and cilantro, we were being very healthy and responsible.

Place was loud, the soccer game was blaring, it was pretty cool.  I meant to also have pictures of the salsa bar, but really screwed up and must have moved the camera.  Most people check that stuff, but I was so focused on eating tacos.  The salsa bar again, yeah the one that I don't have pictures of has some amazing peppers and onions.  They were spicy and good!

RATINGS:
POLLO: 4,
slow clap and a bravo on this one.  All four of us liked the chicken.  It was really good.  It was tender, flavorful but not overwhelming.  Often we get salt bombs on the chicken, that was not the case here.
CABEZA: 2, I'm really on a string of bad cabeza and I want to get out of it.  I love cabeza and I have not encountered good cabeza in a few blogs.  The Juggernaut spit it out when he took a bite, Alexander did not really care for it either.
LENGUA: 3, I like this.  I am wondering why I didn't give it a 4, but I already wrote it, and this is on the internet, so who am I to change it?  They chop the tongue right in front of you and they do a great job.  It is worth trying and is great in their tacos.
CARNITAS: 3, this was nicely done.  Texture was good, not overcooked. Seasoning was pretty solid.  Worth trying without a doubt.  Would probably be perfect in a burrito.
PASTOR: 3, consistently inconsistent.  Had it all tasted like the good part, holy cow, this is knocking on the door of a 5.  We had a number of pastor tacos on the table and a half asada half pastor burrito for the Juggernaut, and the pastor tasted different.  None was bad, but some was average and some was crazy good.
ASADA: 5, this took me by surprise.  I did not see this one coming.  It was good stuff.  It was tender, it was very flavorful.  They had some good seasoning on there, but it was not at all overwhelming, so you could really taste the meat.  This was pleasing to me.
SALSA ROJO: 2, spicy but just not very flavorful.  This was just below OK.  It was watery and not really very good.
SALSA VERDE: 4, this was quite the delicious surprise.  I asked for a to go ramekin to take home as I need to recreate this.  Nice light spice, great texture, heavy tomatillos, really, really good.
The food was really good overall that the boys enjoyed it.  They both attacked and ate as many tacos as quickly as they could.  I wonder where they got that from?  The asada really was one of the best I've had in sometime.  The biggest issue with the food was a bit inconsistent.  Some of the pastor was incredible, some was OK.  Chicken and lengua was the same.  It was all chopped right in front of us, but is kept in steam wells and it depends on how deep they went in their for how much good flavor and juice you really got.  Here is Jason kind of mad at me for taking a picture and Alexander chomping down.
Thank you as always for reading, following, telling people.  I have added a thingy to make it easier for you to follow me on Instagram.  Many up to date taco pictures, some Jiu Jitsu and the crazy people and antics that I'm up to, but mainly tacos.  Today was extra fun with just the guys, it is nice to get time with my dad and my two sons, hope you enjoyed our adventure, please tell your friends to read about it, tweet about it, post about the blog.  We always need more followers at The Order of the Taco.

Before I go, I want to update you.  Melissa still has not taken a shower and is still not clean.

Today's goodbye/gratuitous photo is a two part photo of my son Jason, the Juggernaut.  It is amazing how much more he will eat when his sister is not around.  He attacked a carne asada burrito with hot sauce on it.  I asked for none, but there was some on there.  He was drinking water like crazy but kept eating.  We learned that he does want his burritos wrapped tightly.  He was quite the trooper and was incredibly funny throughout our trip.  Here is him getting ready, then him taking that big bite, it is good to see you tacoteers learning and growing into their own taco eating professionals.

White Rabbit, Winnetka, CA

I've seen the truck, passed by the joint 100's of times.  It says they have tacos, burritos.  Mike and I went on a short trip to a beer bar to try an IPA Shootout that they were doing.  We each had two beers and we decided to go Tacoteering.  We had a place or two in mind and then thought Filipino Tacos? Why not?
When you walk into this former Taco Bell, you are introduced to this menu.  The whole thing just fits.  The place is clean, the menu is simple.  You can see how this works so well as a taco truck.  They have their menu dialed in.  I was kind of shocked, they had to take our name.  We were the only people in the joint and no one else really came in, but OK, that works, I guess they are so married to their system that they had to stick with it.  It did take two people to take our order.  That was interesting.  At first we thought that one of them might be in training, but that did not seem to be the case.  One of the most interesting parts, is that there is a bed sheet that separates the front and back of the kitchen.  I have to say that it blew me away a bit, but hey, works for this place.
RATINGS:
CHICKEN ADOBO: 3,
pretty textbook chicken, not too shabby.  It was good, but didn't overly impress.
BEEFSTEAK: 3, asada esque?  It is good stuff.  A bit sweet, a bit salty.  Good little beef option.
PORK SISIG: 2, a let down for me here.  It is not that it was bad, maybe I built up the excitement too much in my head.  I was pumped to get this taco and it was a little less than OK.  Why a let down, its fried pork with jalapenos.
LONGANISA: 4, this is a chopped sausage and it was a total shock alert here.  Did not expect to like this all that much.  Actually I did not expect to like it and almost did not get it.  This was some tasty stuff.  It almost tasted like orange chicken.
VEGETARIAN: 4,  just a heads up, soy based.  Nice little vegetarian treat.  It almost tasted like pork and was some serious sweetness to it.  It went great with Sriracha.  Gave it a nice sweet and spicy balance that paired well together.
PORK TOCINO: 3, braised wok fried pork.  Yum, yum get me some.  This was a nice little go to that these guys put together.
PORK LUMPIA: 3, this is similar to an egg roll, but maybe better.  We asked the two cashiers helping us what one item we had to try and they sent us here.  It didn't blow me away, but it was pretty tasty.  Couple it with their homemade banana ketchup and you will enjoy with a smile.  One order is cut into six and it was a great little appetizer for us.  I mean come on, who doesn't like a little fried pork goodness?
That is the spread!  Yes, we got two of each meat and the lumpia.  This place is good.  This place is worth stopping by.  Did it really satisfy my taco craving?  No, but it was good food and anyone who is going to try doing some different tacos is solid in my book.  These guys are doing some cool things and I will be checking them out in the future.  I will warn you that they use sugar and a lot of it.

Thank you as always for indulging me with a read, it is appreciated.

Today's goodbye/gratuitous photo just entertained me.  It was on every table and was quite the advertisement in this joint.  If you aren't busy, you might want to join...

Tacos Corona, Lake Balboa, CA

This blog is a long time coming.  Tacos Corona has been on my radar for a while.  I've been here, just not in a while.  One of my best friends in the world, who has never been on this blog, PJ use to live right next door.  Well, his town home was next to the shopping center.  Tacos Corona is one of those places that has been in the Valley for a long time.  It is kind of a staple for many.
The inside of the restaurant is apparently blurry.  I did not realize it was this blurry until I just added this photo.  You can see Alexander wheeling himself up to the counter.  Salsa bar is on the right.  Place is pretty cozy.  It is sort of tight spaced, but that is part of the charm.  They really load people in there.  You can order at the counter, go sit at a table.  It really is a choose your own adventure.
Menu is great.  They do a lot of cool stuff, but don't overwhelm you by trying to do everything.  I am obviously a fan.  Pricing is alright.  I've watched them increase prices over the years, but their portions have always been solid, so it is a pretty mute discussion.
Alexander and I took a high top table in the front and settled in for some tacos.  I will say he loves his tacos.  I am always impressed watching him eat tacos.  He attacks tacos.  I did give him options to go anywhere, pizza, gyros, sandwiches, he insisted on doing the right thing.  This photo reminds me how long my arms are.  I mean, that is kind of crazy that this is just a selfie.

RATINGS:
ASADA: 3,
solid asada.  It was textbook goodness that you will enjoy if you need that quick steak taco fix.  Alexander liked it so much he took that entire taco whole.
PASTOR: 4, I loved it.  So did Alexander.  It was a bit spicy, nice pepper flavor but it was not hot or overwhelming.  Alexander is a bit sensitive to the heat and this did not bother him at all, but it was really flavorful.  You could also really taste the port and it was yummy.
CARNITAS: 3, pretty standard stuff.  I though that it was really good.  We enjoyed that it was tender and good, but had some nice crispy ends on it.
LENGUA: 4, this was almost a fight.   We both loved this and it was probably our favorite of all that we ate.  It was really on point, flavorful, cooked perfectly and downright delicious.
CABEZA: 1, this was the most disappointing thing that we had.  I actually had it at a two and switched to a 1 when I started writing.  It was inedible.  Neither of us liked it at all and that was sad.  It was slimy, not cooked well and did not have that nice soft flavor that cabeza has.  We each took only one bite.
BIRRIA: 3, enjoyable, but not exciting.  Light spice to it, soft and good, maybe it was cooked on too high of heat because it didn't melt the way I think it should to be a 4, but it sure wasn't bad if this is your protein of choice.
POLLO: 3, pretty good stuff here.  Pretty basic though.  Alexander took this one on as it did not really impress me.
TRIPA: 2, simply not cooked long enough this time.  I've had it before and it has been a 3 almost a 4.  The flavor was good, but it was way too chewy and under cooked.  Alexander and I both strongly agreed on this one.
BUCHE: 3, this was good.  Alexander liked it more than I did.  I thought it was a little chewy, he said he thought it was great and had most of that taco.
SALSA BAR: 3, it was good, but there is nothing special about this one.  They have all the options that they should and their salsa are all good, except for one.  Their green avocado one is pretty excellent.
Beware of the ketchup salsa.  One of their salsas at the salsa bar tastes like ketchup.  It is the dark red one that kind of looks like textured ketchup.  It is not tasty.

As always, a big thank you for reading and sharing.  Sorry I've been so busy and haven't posted as many lately.  This adventure was great as I got some one on one time with my oldest son Alexander.  We don't get too much time just one on one.  He's by far the nicest of my three kids.  Like I always say, it's not where or which tacos you are eating, but who you are eating them with that makes the experience that much more awesome.  Many more taco adventures to come from around the globe thank you for reading!

Today's goodbye/gratuitous photo is of my oldest son Alexander at Jiu Jitsu.  If you follow me on Instagram you've seen this one.  It is of Alexander (my son with CP, who's in a wheelchair) flipping his instructor Pat King.  He's really doing well and has an amazing instructor.  We are very grateful that we found someone who is working with Alexander and teaching him so much.

My Taco Man Catering, Wine Pick-up Party!

This little napkin dispenser says it all.  A guy with a mustache, smile and tacos.  Lets start from the beginning this time.  Paul, my brother, Melissa my wife and I are members of Labyrinth Winery.  They do a few wine pick up parties every year for their members and there might not be a place to have more fun in the universe.  They've done all types of food, but this time, they reached the summit of the mountain with a taco truck.  Melissa and I got a hotel room walking distance on the beach.
Not too shabby of a view from the balcony.  That was a morning photo that I took.  Really nice waking up in Ventura to the site of the islands, smell of the ocean and Jason not in my bed kicking and crying for milk at 4am.  Paul, Melissa and I went for a swim in the ocean, hung out and then headed to the wine party.  We got there way too early.  It was us hanging offering to help set-up the party with the workers.  We patiently waited and had a great time speaking to the owners and employees who we do already know.
Check out the red wine spread.  Yeah, that is just the reds, not including all of the great whites that they have.  There was some amazing wine poured at this event.  It was a true great time.  We scouted the area and found a great corner tucked behind the bar with some couches.  A few of Paul's friends were meeting us and joining the party.  There were snacks around, great people and of course tacos.
These guys were there early and grilling up some delightful treats for everyone that found themselves worthy of having tacos with their wine.  True story, tacos go great with everything.  They are a celebratory as well as mourning food.  They are great for any occasion.  I'm glad that My Taco Man knows this.  There was only three servings of tacos available for the even.  Vegetable, Pollo and Asada.  This was enough, because they crushed it.
So you walk up to the grill and this is the set-up.  Could it look better?  I really don't know if it could.  It was pretty awesome.  They had a table set-up with cilantro, onions, red and green salsa.  Pretty cool little set-up.  They would get you as many tacos as you asked, small tortillas that they filled right up.  It was perfect for the wine tasting.  They weren't too big and overwhelming, they weren't too small to where you couldn't taste the food.  Nicely done guys, nicely done.
So this is the group.  My brother Paul and wife Melissa you know.  Brooks is sitting next to Melissa, Jamie is next to Paul and Tony is next to her.  Pretty righteous group.  I know, you are asking yourself, what is with all the water glasses?  We drank a ton of water.  We did enjoy ourselves, but we did pace ourselves and wanted to make sure that we had fun and remembered every bit of it.
Here's a shot of the little spread.  I'm not doing a full rankings sheet with just three tacos.  Veggies was a 3, solid and good, Asada was a 4, yeah, it was that good, Pollo: 5.  It might have been the best pollo I've ever had.  It was so good and it just melted.  The salsas were solid, the peppers were so good, I'm salivating a week later just thinking about them.  This place is fantastic.  If you are in need of catering for a party, this is a group to consider if you want people to enjoy the food.
We went to dinner that night and I got fish tacos.  If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen this, if not, you're welcome.  They were also delicious.

What an amazing weekend.  Sorry it's taken so long to write this, I've had a ton of work to do!  There are many great notes on this trip.  Spending the time with my wife and brother, eating tacos, drinking wine, swimming in the ocean at night (one of my favorite things to do).  I got to know the winemaker.  I've met him, I've spoken to him, but really got to know him and his amazing wife, also a winemaker.  I say it like she's not one of the best in the game.  Lane Tanner is his wife and she is second to none.  A gracious woman who was so wonderful to us.  We enjoyed chatting with her and getting to know her.  Ariki Hill is the winemaker I was speaking of and today's goodbye/gratuitous photo is of him pouring.  A huge thank you to Labyrinth Wines for such an amazing day.  Their wines are fantastic.  You should be buying their wines as much as possible.

San Marcos Mexican Grill, Sherman Oaks, CA

A big shout out to the SFV.  Meetings this morning in the Valley, before we shot over the hill to get to Culver City, we had to do some Tacoteering.  Let me introduce you to Amy Kelley.  Amy is one of the amazing co-workers who I get to work with.  I was lucky enough to have Dolly with me today.  A few good days of riding have done me good.  If you are new to the blog, I always like to introduce people because if you don't know, it's not as much where or what you eat, but who you get to eat with, as long as its tacos of course.  Here's a picture of Amy.
Now that we know who was on the trip, lets talk about the place.  San Marcos has been on the radar for a short bit.  It claims authentic Mexican food, claim is pretty on point.  Handmade tortillas done in house, meat is all cooked to order, they do a pretty nice job.
Here is a shot from the outside looking in.  They have a modest looking building, the inside decor is pretty cool.  Chairs were large and comfortable.  When you sit down, they give you chips and a spicy chipotle bean dip.  This stuff was nicely done.  Really some pretty good stuff.  It was really smoky with a good texture.  Smooth, but not creamy.  I liked it.  You can grab salsas from their great salsa bar.
They have a variety of things to choose from.  Red onions, nice touch.  A bit of bite was a good change of pace to the normal white and brown onions that everyone else is doing.  Radish was fresh, limes were juicy, salsas were all pretty solid.  Enough about salsa, the sexiest, most exciting thing that I saw all day is pictured below.
That picture alone is why you should be following The Order of the Taco on Instagram.  It saddens me when I see how few followers take advantage of taco and pepper pictures that I'm posting.  If that picture doesn't get you hyped up for the day, I don't know what will.  Menu is pretty cool, they do some neat lunch specials daily, I of course just went after the tacos.
This is the menu board.  They do have some menus at the table, I didn't bring any pictures of it, you can pretty much guess what they have here.  Biggest complaint about this place is the napkins.  I feel like I went through near a thousand.  Granted, I'm a really messy eater, but still, those napkins were just too small.  They didn't do anything to make things better.  Enough of the jibber jabber, on to the ratings.
RATINGS:
PASTOR: 3, this is almost a 4.  It is different, good different, it is worth trying.  It doesn't go too far off the reservation.
LENGUA: 3, a solid 3.  Didn't blow my mind, as you know I like it a bit more shredded, but it was good.
ASADA: 3, this was pretty textbook goodness.
CABEZA: 2, I don't know why they couldn't get this one right.  Don't eat it here, it is the only thing that I did not enjoy.
CARNITAS: 4, yes, a true 4.  Texture was awesome, the flavor was incredible.  It had a nice smoky flavor to it, smelled great.  Don't miss out on this one.
TRIPA: 4, this might well have been my favorite of their meats.  This was close to a 5, but didn't hit it.  It was crispy, well seasoned and good.  If you like tripa, get over there and try this stuff.
GUACAMOLE: 4, this was a well balanced, lime flavored treat with chunks, fresh cilantro and love.
The spread was nice.  I enjoyed the red onion over the white and brown onion which most places do.  I know I already told you, but now that we did the ratings I feel like you needed to be reminded.  It added some color and the flavor was great.  I will go back.  I want to try this place again.  The tortillas as I said were pretty awesome.  They were light and fluffy, but not watery.  They were thick enough to stand up to the meat and not dissolve, but not thick and chewy.  Places that do their own tortillas always get some extra love from me, unless they suck and need to be burned.

Fun place, good times.  I'm proud of the job that Amy did on her first time, but we didn't get her to try any cabeza, lengua or anything that is out of her normal scope and that is sad.  It was fun taking her, next to go from the office is going to be Nicole and Amelia.  I'm looking forward to it.  These two are primed and ready for a Tacoteering adventure.  Going to have to dig deep to find a profound, delectable place that will make these ladies want to eat more tacos.

Thank you for reading, spreading the word and eating tacos, it is always appreciated.  Remember, if you like reading it, continue and tell your friends.  If you don't please still continue to read and tell people that you don't like.

Today's goodbye/gratuitous photo is of Amy trying to eat.  You know that I like to catch people in Tacoteering action, this photo is no different.  Amy is the Director of Marketing at the company that I work for.  She's brought some amazing life to what we do.  Fun facts about Amy, she doesn't like to give genuine smiles, only fake ones.  Her husband's name is Kevin and he is really cool.  She loves her dog and there are pictures of her dog all over her office and her notebooks.  She loves to be in the know and hates liars.  She likes the smell of the ocean and street fighting in Venice.  Enjoy the photo...

Tortas Ahogadas Las Originales, San Fernando, CA

Well this one has been a long time coming.  I've wanted to try this place, long lines, good reputation.  My thoughts are a bit mixed.  Don't get me wrong, I dig the joint, but they left some meats to be desired.  Will I go back?  Of course, I still haven't tried their Torta Ahogada which is their house specialty.
What a beautiful Sunday in Southern California!  The low clouds, cool air and rain were a nice change of pace for the area.  Brandon and I have been trying to get together for quite some time, finally, it happened.  This place has been on Brandon's radar for a while.  We've text back and forth about it, emailed about it.  He went in and scouted the place getting some pina not too long ago.  I have missed Brandon, he's been busy, I've been gone, it was good to finally catch up and hang out for a bit.
This place was totally packed.  The line did not subside at all.  People kept coming in.  They were staying to eat, taking food to go, every way to get food, people were on it.  The waters looked pretty solid, that is going to happen next trip.  Looking at the restaurant it looks like they expanded at some point and took over the place next to them.  The restaurant is pretty big, they need the space!
They had a pretty decent size crew that was working!  This team did not stop.  They were all quiet, heads down working.  They ran with two people on the grill the entire time and then had a slew of prep folks and were wrapping, plating and packaging food as efficiently as they could.  You can tell that they are use to being busy.  They communicated effectively and I appreciated seeing them work so well together.  There was a freaky power surge while I was there, you should have seen the people in there jump!
I dig the menu.  I now look at this picture and realize what a horrible job I did of taking it.  I would apologize, but that really is not my style.  Pretty darn good looking menu.  They have plenty, but not too much.  It is not a regular "cheap" taqueria, but it is not pricey by any means.  I am totally coming back for a Torta, like I said earlier.  They hit the basics, do some cool stuff and they don't overwhelm you with too many options.
RATINGS:
BUCHE: 2, this was a sad first bite at this place.  It was just not up to par.  It was a bit under cooked and tough.
LENGUA: 2,  this just did not hit me right.  They leave the tongue in bigger pieces, it did not absorb all of the flavor that I think it could have.  It was just not that great, I was a bit sad, but not for long.
SUADERO: 1, couldn't eat it.  Really couldn't eat it.  This was slimy, under cooked and not at all good.  I don't even want to talk about it.
PASTOR: 3, this was interesting.  This was really interesting.  I enjoyed this one.  Not off a cone, but tasty.  Lots of flavor.  Lots of clove.  Heavy on the aciote.  It is a pleaser that you will want to indulge in.
ASADA: 3, I liked this.  Without question, I would order this again.  It was pretty standard, but pretty great.  Don't miss out if you have a beef craving.
PIERNA: 5, slow clap for the surprise of this trip.  This stuff came out of no where.  I was done ordering and asked the guy if there was a taco I "had to order."  He pointed me towards this delightful meal.  WOW!  Really enjoyed this stuff.  It was very good.  It was sweet, spicy, loaded with layered flavors of cinnamon, cumin, clove and pepper.  I really enjoyed it!  It came out in red tortillas from cooking it on the flat top, ah man, you need to check this out.
POLLO: 3, I liked it.  It was tasty and not over cooked.  It was tender and tasty, but didn't have a layered depth or flavor that could bump it up a rating.
CHORIZO: 4, I really am not a chorizo fan.  I just don't care much for the stuff, but this one was good, really good.  It was not greasy at all and the flavors on it were tasty.  Worth a try!
CARNITAS: 3, this was pretty good operating standard right here.  Sweet, but not too sweet.  Tender, but not falling apart.  It was some really good stuff.  Check it out, it won't disappoint.
Good looking spread huh?  We took the food back to Brandon's for us to chow down on.  We couldn't even finish all of the food.  The tortillas were small but full.  They do a nice job.  As for to-go packaging, these guys were great.  They really did an amazing job.  They packaged everything nicely, wrapped it tight and everything stayed nice and warm.  The red tortillas are the pierna.  They almost come out looking like they are quesadillas, but there is no cheese in them.  They are nicely cooked and the meat melts into the tortilla.  I really enjoyed it.  This was a nice surprise on the taco front for the day.  After eating the food, I'm coming back, I am totally getting a torta and pierna is not going un-ordered if I'm around!
That is the salsa bar.  They let you put your own lime, cilantro and onions.  Some places don't have great fresh product out, these guys do.  They replenished it over and over while I was there.  They had fried jalapenos on the salsa bar.  They were so incredibly good.  That is worth the price of admission in itself.  I totally loved them!  Salsas were good, didn't blow me away.

Thank you as always for reading and being a part of the adventures.  I need to write more of these, just been crazy busy!  I've also been hitting some old favorites lately.  Today's goodbye gratuitous photo is of Brandon.  Brandon has been a really great close friend of mine for a few years now and it is like I've known him my whole life.  Very lucky to have such a great guy to call a true friend.  When I'm on the road, Brandon always checks on me.  When I'm in town, he is reminding me to try to have some fun sometimes and does his best to get me to get out and eat some tacos with someone other than myself!  Here Brandon is about to crush some pierna and beer!
